Richmond VA > Retirement > Education > Overview

Last Updated: 2016-09-15

The Richmond Retirement System (RRS) is dedicated to educating its members. We encourage you to take advantage of the resources that we offer, including classes and workshops about retirement planning, investing, and your RRS plan. Because RRS benefits may be different for police officers and firefighters, the RRS tailors classes for sworn employees, and these classes discuss plan provisions like the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP). Seating is limited, and we encourage you to pre-register by emailing our office.

If you have questions about these education programs or would like to register for a class or workshop, please e-mail the retirement office.
